Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Department of State Police Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Requires the Department of State Police to conduct or approve a training program in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) for State police officers. Amends the Illinois Police Training Act. Requires the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board to conduct or approve a training program in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) for law enforcement officers of local government agencies.
