Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Criminal Identification Act. Provides for the sealing of criminal records for Class 4 felony offenses under the Methamphetamine Precursor Control Act, Class 4 felony offenses under the Steroid Control Act, Class 3 and 4 felony offenses under Sections 4 and 5 of the Cannabis Control Act, Class 3 felony offenses under the Methamphetamine Control and Community Protection Act concerning the possession of methamphetamine, and Class 2, 3, and 4 felony offenses under the Illinois Controlled Substances Act concerning the manufacture and delivery of controlled substances; prostitution; Class 3 and 4 felony offenses of theft, retail theft, deceptive practices, forgery, and possession of burglary tools; and Class 2 felony offenses of burglary and certain offenses related to motor vehicles and other vehicles.
