Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Liquor Control Act of 1934. Provides that the Department of Revenue may grant waivers from the requirement that importing distributors to keep records at their licensed address or place of business, and permit importing distributors to keep those records at a central business location within the State. Effective immediately.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
Adds reference to:
235 ILCS 5/5-1

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the language from the engrossed bill with the following change: provides that central business locations shall be located at a licensed importing distributor's premises. Further amends the Liquor Control Act of 1934. Provides a manufacturer which is licensed in this State to make sales or deliveries of alcoholic liquor to licensed distributors or importing distributors and which enlists agents, representatives, or individuals acting on its behalf who contact licensed retailers on a regular and continual basis in this State must register those agents, representatives, or persons acting on its behalf with the State Commission. Provides that the Illinois Liquor Control Commission shall post a list of registered agents on the Commission's website. Effective immediately.
