Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Regulatory Sunset Act. Extends the repeal of a provision of the Illinois Plumbing License Law from January 1, 2014 to January 1, 2024. Amends the Illinois Plumbing License Law. Makes changes to the requirements for how many licensed plumbers irrigation contractors shall employ to install or be responsible for the installation of every lawn sprinkler system installed. Effective immediately.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Adds reference to:
225 ILCS 320/2from Ch. 111, par. 1102

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the language of the introduced bill. Further amends the Illinois Plumbing License Law. Makes changes to the definition of "irrigation employee". Provides that nothing in the Act shall prohibit a bona fide labor organization from registering a person as an irrigation employee with the Illinois Department of Public Health. Effective immediately.
