Synopsis As Introduced
Creates the Uniform Assignment of Rents Act. Provides for the creation, perfection, priority, and enforcement of a security interest in rents. Includes provisions concerning: assignments of rents; appointment of a receiver; enforcement by notices; and coordination with the Uniform Commercial Code.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 1
Adds reference to:
765 ILCS 5/31.5 rep.

Repeals provisions of the Conveyances Act concerning assignment of rents. Also adds a placeholder for a Section of the Uniform Act that is not included in the Illinois version.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 2
Adds reference to:
765 ILCS 5/31.5 rep.

Replaces everything after the enacting clause and reinserts the provisions of the introduced bill with corrections involving spelling, grammar, and formatting. Also adds language repealing provisions of the Conveyances Act concerning assignment of rents and adds a placeholder for a Section of the Uniform Act that is not included in the Illinois Act.
