Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Act on the Aging. Makes technical changes in a Section concerning the short title.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
20 ILCS 105/1
Adds reference to:
20 ILCS 840/3.4 new
20 ILCS 840/5from Ch. 105, par. 468k

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the State Parks Designation Act. Creates a provision designating the Larry D. Closson State Wildlife Habitat Area in Douglas County a State wildlife area. Provides that the Department of Natural Resources shall have under the Department's care, control, supervision, and management of natural areas and wildlife habitat areas.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the engrossed bill with changes. Amends the State Parks Designation Act. Creates a provision designating the Larry D. Closson State Habitat Area (instead of the Larry D. Closson State Wildlife Habitat Area) in Douglas County a State Habitat Area (instead of a wildlife habitat). Requires the Department of Natural Resources to care for, control, supervise, and manage State parks, State memorials, State Boating Access Areas, State Natural Areas, State Habitat Areas, State Recreational Areas, State Wildlife Areas, State Fish and Wildlife Areas, State Trails, and State Conservation Areas.
