Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963. Authorizes the deposition to be taken at a location other than the alleged victims residence.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Authorizes the court to permit an elderly person who is an alleged victim of financial exploitation, abuse, or neglect to testify by deposition taken at either his or her residence or another location.

 House Bill 53, as amended by House Amendment No. 1, would neither increase nor decrease the number of judges needed in the state.
