Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Deletes language requiring a person to stop the engine before leaving a vehicle unattended.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that stopping the engine of an unattended motor vehicle is not required if the vehicle has been started by a remote car starter.
