Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Local Governmental and Governmental Employees Tort Immunity Act. Provides that for the purposes of the fire protection and rescue services Article the term "local public entity" is defined to include private persons, organizations, or corporations that provide during an emergency, at the specific request of the fire chief or chief's designee, support or assistance to a fire department, fire protection district, or rescue squad district.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Local Governmental and Governmental Employees Tort Immunity Act. Makes a technical change in the Section amended by the introduced bill.
