Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Fire Protection District Act. Requires a fire protection district receiving revenues of less than $850,000 (rather than appropriating less than $200,000) for the fiscal year to prepare the financial report required by Section 3 of the Governmental Account Audit Act.

Fiscal Note (Illinois State Fire Marshal)
There is no impact on State revenues or expenditures. The bill will result in savings to some fire protection districts because they will not be required to do audits (between $2,000 and $3,000 per district, on average).
