Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Conservation District Act and the Downstate Forest Preserve District Act. Provides that "Build America Bonds" issued by a District prior to January 1, 2011 shall mature not later than 30 years after the date of issue. Effective immediately.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Conservation District Act and the Downstate Forest Preserve District Act. Provides that bonds issued by a Conservation District or a Forest Preserve District, other than "Build America Bonds", shall mature not later than 25 (instead of 20) years after the date of issue. Effective immediately.
