Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Requires independent practice associations and physician-hospital organizations to register with the Department of Insurance. Sets forth information required to be disclosed in the registration. Authorizes the Department of Insurance to establish necessary fees. Provides for disciplinary action by the Department to correct noncompliance by an independent practice association or physician-hospital organization. Effective December 1, 2003.
