Synopsis As Introduced
Appropriates $86,680,000 from the General Revenue Fund (GRF) to the Department of Human Services (DHS) for (i) a 5% cost-of-doing-business increase in rates paid to private sector agencies serving individuals with developmental disabilities and (ii) a benefit package for direct support staff in such private sector agencies. Appropriates $43,320,000 from GRF to DHS for similar purposes in connection with private sector agencies serving individuals with mental illness. Appropriates additional amounts from GRF to DHS to restore grant funding reserved by the Department during fiscal year 2009, and for other purposes. Effective July 1, 2009.
