Illinois General Assembly - Bill Status for EO1910

Provides that the Department of Human Services shall establish the Census Office to support the 2020 census and coordinate the State's census efforts. Sets forth responsibilities of State agencies and departments within the executive branch regarding the census. Provides that 2 census co-coordinators shall be appointed by the Governor to direct the Census Office. Provides for consultation and reports. Establishes the Census Advisory Panel and specifies its composition. Provides that the Census Advisory Panel shall serve as an advisory board to the Census Office and focus its efforts on ensuring that communities historically undercounted in and other "hard to count" communities receive specialized outreach and assistance. Contains provisions regarding: timing; savings; prior executive orders; severability; and other matters. Effective immediately.
