Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Department of Transportation Law of Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

House Floor Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
20 ILCS 2705/2705-1
Adds reference to:
30 ILCS 575/6from Ch. 127, par. 132.606

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Business Enterprise for Minorities, Females, and Persons with Disabilities Act. Provides that any State agency or State university administering a construction program, for which federal law or regulations establish standards and procedures for the utilization of minority, disadvantaged, and female-owned business, may (rather than shall) implement a disadvantaged business enterprise program. Effective immediately.
