Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Payday Loan Reform Act and the Consumer Installment Loan Act. Provides that the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation shall set rules for the imposition and amount of fines.

House Floor Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Payday Loan Reform Act and the Consumer Installment Loan Act. Provides that the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation shall establish by rule and publish a schedule of fines that are reasonably tailored to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Acts and which include remedial measures intended to improve licensee compliance.
