Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that, in provisions concerning municipal retailers' occupation taxes, "public infrastructure" includes broadband and fiber optic networks and systems and certain debt service, planning, and engineering costs. Effective immediately.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1

	Deletes reference to:
	65 ILCS 5/8-11-1.2

	Adds reference to:
	65 ILCS 5/8-11-1.1	from Ch. 24, par. 8-11-1.1

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the imposition of use and occupation taxes.
