SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of John James "Jim" Killoran, Jr. of
4Bloomington, who passed away on August 29, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, John Killoran, Jr. was born on October 23, 1940 in
6Bloomington; his parents were John James and Anne Skipper
7Killoran; he married Ann Marie Cottone on August 23, 1958 in
8Bloomington; and
 
9    WHEREAS, John Killoran, Jr. was raised in Bloomington and
10married his Trinity High School sweetheart; he worked at
11Paxton's Typewriter, Inc. for many years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, John Killoran, Jr. was a member of the Knights of
13Columbus in Bloomington for many years and served as a Grand
14Knight; and
 
15    WHEREAS, John Killoran, Jr. enjoyed all sports, the St.
16Louis Cardinals, his pontoon boat, and snowmobiling with his
17special friends; and
 
18    WHEREAS, John Killoran, Jr. was preceded in death by his
19parents and his brothers, Thomas Killoran and Donald Kerr; and

1    WHEREAS, John Killoran, Jr. is survived by his wife, Ann
2Marie; his children, Kathleen (Mark) Duff, Linda (Larry Jordan)
3Killoran, and James (Tracy) Killoran; his grandchildren, Andy
4Grant, Jacqueline Duff, Jack Killoran, and Sam Killoran; his
5sister, Nancy (James) Mikel; Robert Kerr; his special friend,
6Jack (Donna) Dearth; and his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces
7and great-nephews; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
10family and friends, mourn the passing of John James "Jim"
11Killoran, Jr.; and be it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of John Killoran, Jr. as an expression
14of our sympathy.
