SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of the death of Rudolph J. "Rudy" Calzavara
4of Hebron, who passed away on March 15, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Rudolph Calzavara was born on September 26, 1928
6in Libertyville, where he remained a resident for 41 years; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Rudolph Calzavara and his wife, Gene, moved to
8Lebanon, Missouri in 1996 and established the Big Hat Ranch;
9they owned and operated the Circle "R" Stables at Route 60 and
10St. Mary's Road in Mettawa and also owned the Big Hat Rodeo
11Company for over 50 years, now in Hebron; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Rudolph Calzavara was a former member of St.
13Joseph Parish in Libertyville; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Rudolph Calzavara was preceded in death by his
15wife, Gene; his 6 brothers and sisters; and his parents,
16Francisco and Cesira Calzavara; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Rudolph Calzavara is survived by his 4 children,
18Cody (Heidi) Calzavara, Lenora (Bill) Nolan, Frank (Dee)
19Calzavara, and Lee Ann Calzavara; his 6 grandchildren; his
20great-grandson; his 3 sisters, Lenora "Ellie" Sage, Cesira

1"Lulu" Nagler, and Florence Zarletti; over 40 nieces and
2nephews; and many lifelong friends; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Rudolph J. "Rudy" Calzavara, and extend our sincere condolences
6to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
7it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Rudolph Calzavara as an expression
10of our deepest sympathy.
