SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Winifred "Winnie" Stanczak of
4Lindenhurst, who passed away on February 10, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Winifred Stanczak was born in Woodstock on March
610, 1923 to Ellis and Martha Gott; she graduated from Waukegan
7High School in 1941 and married Leonard Stanczak on February
820, 1943; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Winifred Stanczak loved to crochet, knit and
10quilt, bake cookies, and can peaches from the tree in the
11backyard; she also loved the Lawrence Welk Show and was a
12volunteer at the hospital and at Jesse's Resale Shop; she was a
13member of the First Baptist Church of Waukegan and was involved
14in the Women's Circle Society; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Winifred Stanczak was preceded in death by her
16parents; her sisters, Arlene and Isabell; and her
17daughter-in-law, Cheryl; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Winifred Stanczak is survived by her husband,
19Leonard; her 3 sons, David (Connie), Richard, and John; her
20grandchildren, Scott (Jennifer) Stanczak, Kyle Stanczak,
21Lauren Stanczak, Morgan (Ryan) Finneran, Teddi Stanczak, and

1Brad (Jennifer) Stanczak; and her great-grandchildren, Hazel
2and Cora Stanczak; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Winifred "Winnie" Stanczak, and extend our sincere condolences
6to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be
7it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Winifred Stanczak as an expression
10of our deepest sympathy.
