SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Linda Weidner of McHenry, who passed away
4on January 6, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Linda Weidner married James Weidner on December 9,
61972 at St. Joseph Church in Libertyville; she was a resident
7of McHenry since 1976; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Linda Weidner worked for Wauconda and Grant
9Townships and retired from Ela Township as a Deputy Assessor;
10and
 
11    WHEREAS, Linda Weidner enjoyed fishing at the McHenry Dam
12every day during the summer; playing bingo; taking trips to Las
13Vegas; spending time with her grandchildren; wintering in
14Arizona with her best friend, Darlene, and husband, Jim;
15reading; and playing with her dog, Angel; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Linda Weidner was preceded in death by her mother,
17Violet Hammonds; her best friend and cousin, Darlene Michalek;
18and her father and mother-in-law, Dick and Esther Weidner; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Linda Weidner is survived by her husband of 42
20years, James; her children, Kelly (Todd) Dzike, Keri (Mike)

1Pohl, and Sean Weidner; her grandchildren, Alex, Shelby, Jack,
2and Evan; her father, William Hammonds; her brother, William
3(Pat) Hammonds; her brothers-in-law, Ron (the late Doris)
4Weidner, Reverend Larry Weidner, and Robert Weidner; her
5sister-in-law, Janet (Erich) Schmidbauer; and her nieces and
6nephews, Matthew, Katie, Sarahbeth, Daniel, and Billy;
7therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Linda Weidner, and extend our sincere condolences to her
11family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Linda Weidner as an expression of
15our deepest sympathy.
