SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Robert J. Heer of Wheeling, who passed 
4away on December 24, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Heer served his community as a Buffalo 
6Grove Police Officer for 33 years, and as a Village of Wheeling 
7Trustee since 1995; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Robert Heer was an active father who always put 
9his family first; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Robert Heer gave unselfishly in life and was an 
11organ donor, making "Christmas miracles" a reality to many 
12after his passing; and
  
 
  
13    WHEREAS, Robert Heer was the beloved husband of Cathy (nee 
14Trunda); the loving father of Nick (Michelle), Andy, and 
15Kaitlyn Heer; the dear Grandpa Bert of Seamus and Jameson; the 
16fond brother of Sr. Kathleen Heer, SLW, Tom (Patti), Mary, 
17John, Danny (Leanne), Michael (Carrie), Joe Heer, and Betty 
18(the late Floyd) Freeze; and the cherished brother-in-law, 
19uncle, and cousin of many; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Robert J. Heer, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Robert Heer as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
