AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1531

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1531 on page 2, by
3replacing lines 4 through 16 with the following:
4        "(1) a presumed parent or acknowledged father; or
5        (2) a man whose parental rights have been terminated or
6    declared not to exist.
7    (d) (Reserved)."; and
 
8on page 3, by replacing lines 13 through 25 with the following:
9    "(i) (Reserved)."; and
 
10on page 7, by deleting lines 10 through 12; and
 
11on page 7, line 13 by changing "(5)" to "(4)"; and
 
12on page 7, line 15 by changing "(6)" to "(5)"; and

3    "Section 973.5. The Probate Act of 1975 is amended by
4changing Section 2-3 as follows:
 
5    (755 ILCS 5/2-3)  (from Ch. 110 1/2, par. 2-3)
6    Sec. 2-3. Posthumous child.) A posthumous child of a
7decedent shall receive the same share of an estate as if the
8child had been born in the decedent's lifetime; provided that
9such posthumous child shall have been in utero at the
10decedent's death.
