SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Margaret M. Condor of Oak Park, who
4passed away on July 3, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Margaret Condor was born on October 28, 1920 in
6Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; she was a ground-breaking sergeant
7in the 609th Army Counter-Intelligence Corp., Women's Army
8Corps, during World War II; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Margaret Condor worked for the Baskin Clothing
10Company in Chicago, and more recently, at the front desk of the
11Oak Park Public Library; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Margaret Condor was preceded in death by her son,
13William Condor, and her parents, Andrew and Sarah Mulholland;
14and
 
15    WHEREAS, Margaret Condor is survived by her children, Jim
16(Paula Ferguson), Bob (Mary), and Deborah, and her
17grandchildren, Caley, Lisa, Arthur, and Lana; she was the
18sister of the late Mary (the late George) McAdoo, Isabel (the
19late Ted) Jenkins, Jane (the late Ralph) Hall, and Andrew
20Mulholland, and the aunt of Georgeanna (Rob) Moncrief, Laureen
21(Michael) McGuire, Dr. George McAdoo Jr., Sally Levine, Peggy

1Jane Hall, and the late Kenny Hall; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Margaret M. Condor, and extend our sincere condolences to her
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Margaret Condor as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
