SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Robert A. Deisinger of Mundelein, who
4passed away on July 25, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Deisinger was born on March 6, 1929 in
6Putnam; his parents were Fred Deisinger and Alice (nee
7Hedgespeth) Deisinger; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Robert Deisinger was a graduate of Southern
9Illinois University; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Robert Deisinger served his country for 22 years
11in the United States Navy; he was involved in instruction and
12Navy communications, including space communications for
13sub-orbital and orbital flight, manned moon landings, and fleet
14communications; after retiring from the Navy, he worked for the
15next 25 years at Northrop Electronics as a Project Manager and
16Electrical Engineer; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Robert Deisinger was a member of American Legion
18Post #867; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Robert Deisinger was preceded in death by his
20parents and a brother, Albert Eugene Deisinger; and

1    WHEREAS, Robert Deisinger was survived by his loving wife
2of more than 63 years, Theresa (nee Sepanek-Szczepanek)
3Deisinger; 4 children, Robert (Julie) Deisinger, Deborah (Dan)
4Stuebe, David Deisinger, and Karen (Kevin) Forsythe; 13
5grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
8family and friends, mourn the passing of Robert A. Deisinger;
9and be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Robert Deisinger as an expression of
12our sympathy.
