SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Marilyn D. Lesnak of Waukegan, who passed
4away on May 12, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Marilyn Lesnak was born on April 11, 1942 in
6Chicago; her parents were Esther and Stanley Weisman; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Marilyn Lesnak was employed with the Lake County
8States Attorney's Office and Waukegan East High School; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Marilyn Lesnak enjoyed motorcycle trips with her
10husband, salmon fishing on Lake Michigan, volunteering at St.
11Anastasia Catholic Church, watching the Packers beat the Bears,
12and, most importantly, her relationship with her
13grandchildren; she also loved attending her grandchildren's
14swim meets, hockey, baseball, and soccer games; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Marilyn Lesnak was preceded in death by her
16parents; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Marilyn Lesnak is survived by her husband of 50
18years, Ed; a daughter, Kim (Steve) Nerheim; a son, John (Carol)
19Lesnak; 4 grandchildren, Joseph and Peter Lesnak and Ellie and
20Steffen Nerheim; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins;

1therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
4family and friends, mourn the passing of Marilyn D. Lesnak; and
5be it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Marilyn Lesnak as an expression of
8our sympathy.
