SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Richard "Dick" Mario Azzaro, Sr. of
4Palatine, formerly of Chicago; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Richard Azzaro, Sr. was born on July 6, 1939 in
6Chicago; he was a resident of Palatine for 24 years; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Richard Azzaro, Sr. attended St. Michael's High
8School and was very involved with the basketball program there;
9after high school, he attended Wright Junior College; shortly
10after starting junior college, he was able to get into trade
11school, where he was trained in heating and air conditioning;
12and
 
13    WHEREAS, Richard Azzaro, Sr. was a member of Sheet Metal
14Workers Local 73; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Richard Azzaro, Sr. enjoyed cooking, gardening,
16fishing, vacationing with his wife and children, and spending
17time with his family; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Richard Azzaro, Sr. was the beloved husband of
19Janet M. (nee Borio) Azzaro; the loving father of Nina (John)
20Mikuzis, Richard (Mary Pat) Azzaro, Jr., Jennefer (Douglas)

1Klatt, and Josephine (Kevin) Unwin; the loving grandfather of
2Colette, John, Stephanie, Michael, Sam, Joseph, Allison,
3Grace, Sophia, and Kevin; the dear son of the late Michael and
4Josephine (nee Geraci) Azzaro; and the fond brother of Angela
5(the late Anthony) Amici, Vince (Kathleen) Azzaro, and
6Geraldine (Arnold) Sambel; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
9family and friends, mourn the passing of Richard "Dick" Mario
10Azzaro, Sr.; and be it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Richard Azzaro, Sr. as an expression
13of our sympathy.
