SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of John H. Biederman of Ringwood, who passed
4away on March 5, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, John Biederman was born in Chicago on October 9,
61941 to John J. and Clara (nee Kwasniewski) Biederman; he
7married Georgia at St. John Vianney Church in Northlake on May
811, 1963; and
 
9    WHEREAS, John Biederman served in the United States Navy
10during the Vietnam War as a Lieutenant Commander and worked as
11a Captain for United Airlines; and
 
12    WHEREAS, John Biederman volunteered his time for Meals on
13Wheels and senior services; and
 
14    WHEREAS, John Biederman was preceded in death by his
15parents; his wife; his brother, Daniel; and his sister,
16Barbara; and
 
17    WHEREAS, John Biederman is survived by his children, John
18Biederman and Dawn (Jim) Cacioppo; his grandchildren, Jacob and
19Liam; and by several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3John H. Biederman, and extend our sincere condolences to his
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of John Biederman as an expression of
8our deepest sympathy.
