SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Inez Evelyn Knaack of Harvard, who passed
4away on December 14, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Inez Knaack was born on November 7, 1916 in rural
6Harvard to Nels and Elina (nee Johansson) Blank; she married
7Harold E. Knaack, Sr. on March 27, 1936 in Algonquin; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Inez Knaack was employed with the Admiral
9Corporation in Harvard in early 1950's; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Inez Knaack was active with Trinity Lutheran
11Church; she enjoyed trips to northern Wisconsin, crocheting,
12playing cards, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her
13family; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Inez Knaack was preceded in death by her parents;
15her brothers; her sister; and her husband, Harold; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Inez Knaack is survived by her sons, Harold
17(Margo) Knaack, Jr. and Gerald (Maria) Knaack; her
18grandchildren, Deanna (Dale) Schmidt, Christine (Dale) Hasty,
19and Jeff (Jessica) Knaack; her step-children, Angela Fischer,
20Jacob (Kari) Faber, and Allison Nowak; her

1great-grandchildren, Adam, Zoe, Owen, and Robert Hasty and
2Chloe and Madison Knaack; and her step-great-granddaughter,
3Kaitlyn Fischer; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Inez Evelyn Knaack, and extend our sincere condolences to her
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to Inez Knaack as an expression of our deepest
11sympathy.
