SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Dolores S. Belohlavy of McHenry, who
4passed away on December 23, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Dolores Belohlavy was born on April 11, 1925 in
6Chicago to Ralph and Teresa (nee Gleason) Waldo; she married
7Glen Belohlavy on September 27, 1947 in Chicago; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Dolores Belohlavy volunteered at Alden Terrace of
9McHenry Rehabilitation and Health Care Center for more than 20
10years; she also volunteered at St. Patrick's Church in many
11capacities and helped with Meals on Wheels for a number of
12years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Dolores Belohlavy was a member of St. Patrick's
14Ladies Guild and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary for
15more than 40 years; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Dolores Belohlavy was preceded in death by her
17husband, Glen; her parents; her son, Scott Belohlavy; her
18grandsons, Eric and Jacob Belohlavy; her brother, Ed Waldo; and
19her sister, Carol Holden; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Dolores Belohlavy is survived by her son, Doug

1(Mary Ann) Belohlavy; her grandchildren, Ben, Sarah, Amy,
2Emily, and Joe Belohlavy and Jennifer (Patrick) Garrity; her
3great-grandchildren, Lane and Reid Belohlavy, Asher and Lennon
4Cann, and Jessica, Patrick, Keely, and Haley Garrity; and her
5brother, Bob (Dolly) Waldo; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Dolores S. Belohlavy, and extend our sincere condolences to her
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Dolores Belohlavy as an expression
13of our deepest sympathy.
