SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of David K. Parker of Peoria, who passed
4away on September 3, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, David Parker was born on March 4, 1949 in Sterling
6to Howard and Lillian "Liv" (nee Jacobs) Parker; he married
7Janet Barber on September 27, 1969 in Lombard; and
 
8    WHEREAS, David Parker worked in logistics at Caterpillar
9Incorporated for 36 years; he later worked for the Peoria
10Mobile Medic Ambulance Company, Advanced Medical Transport,
11and Wright and Salmon Mortuary; and
 
12    WHEREAS, David Parker was a member of American Legion
13Limestone Post 979 in Bartonville; he was an usher at the Corn
14Stock Theatre and loved to fish; and
 
15    WHEREAS, David Parker was preceded in death by his wife,
16Janet; his father; his uncles; and one great-grandchild; and
 
17    WHEREAS, David Parker is survived by his mother, Liv
18Parker; his children, Julie (Charlie) Jackson, Tim (Dorie)
19Parker, Monica (Dawn) Parker Frakes, and Nena (Steve) Clarke;
20his grandchildren, Eddie, Tim Jr., Rebecca, Jlynn, Kim

1(Justin), Kris, Kanon, and Kurtis; his 4 great-grandchildren;
2his step-grandson, James (Brandi) Jackson; his brothers, Don
3(Paulette) Parker and William (Lori) Parker; and his sister,

5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7David K. Parker, and extend our sincere condolences to his
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of David Parker as an expression of our
12deepest sympathy.
