SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of William E. Gahlberg, who passed away on
4December 31, 2012; and
 
5    WHEREAS, William Gahlberg was born on August 30, 1930, in
6Dayton, Ohio, and grew up in Tucson, Arizona; he married Ursula
7Ann Gahlberg on December 29, 1955; and
 
8    WHEREAS, William Gahlberg was a graduate of the University
9of Arizona; after serving his country as a member of the United
10States Air Force, he and his wife raised their family in Tubac,
11Arizona before moving to Chicago, where he was involved in the
12development of real estate in the Oak Brook and Bolingbrook
13communities; and
 
14    WHEREAS, William Gahlberg is survived by his wife, Ursula
15Ann Gahlberg; his daughters, Elizabeth (Bill) Gladney and Susan
16(Mark) Hearne; his grandchildren, Kiley Talbott, Kate Stacy,
17Anna Gnau, Amelia Hearne, and Elise Hearne; and his
18great-grandchildren, Anna Kathryn Talbott, Charlotte Talbott,
19and Gus Gnau; therefore, be it
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
21ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with

1his family and friends, the passing of William E. Gahlberg; and
2be it further
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
4presented to the family of William Gahlberg as an expression of
5our sympathy.
