SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
20 ILCS 801/20-20 new
20 ILCS 835/4b new
20 ILCS 3405/35 new

    Amends the Department of Natural Resources Act. Provides that only materials manufactured in the United States may be sold on the property of the Illinois State Museum. Defines "materials manufactured in the United States". Amends the State Parks Act. Provides that only materials manufactured in the United States may be sold in gift shops or concession areas within State parks or parkways. Defines "materials manufactured in the United States". Amends the Historic Preservation Agency Act. Provides that only materials manufactured in the United States may be sold on the property of State Historic Sites, State Memorials, and the other properties over which the Historic Preservation Agency has jurisdiction. Defines "materials manufactured in the United States".

1    AN ACT concerning State government.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Department of Natural Resources Act is
5amended by adding Section 20-20 as follows:
 
6    (20 ILCS 801/20-20 new)
7    Sec. 20-20. Prohibitions. Only materials manufactured in
8the United States may be sold on the property of the Illinois
9State Museum. As used in this Section, "materials manufactured
10in the United States" means assembled articles, materials, or
11supplies for which design, final assembly, processing,
12packaging, testing, or other process that adds value, quality,
13or reliability occurred in the United States.
 
14    Section 10. The State Parks Act is amended by adding
15Section 4b as follows:
 
16    (20 ILCS 835/4b new)
17    Sec. 4b. Prohibited sales. Only materials manufactured in
18the United States may be sold in gift shops or concession areas
19within State parks or parkways. As used in this Section,
20"materials manufactured in the United States" means assembled
21articles, materials, or supplies for which design, final
