SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the State Police Merit Board for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2014, as follows:

 

General Funds                    $  699,700

Other State Funds                $4,800,000

Total                            $5,499,700

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

ARTICLE 1

 

    Section 1.  The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated from the General Revenue Fund for the objects and purposes hereinafter named, to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of the State Police Merit Board:

  For Personal Services............................ 361,900

  For State Contributions to

   Social Security.................................. 27,700

  For Contractual Services......................... 273,100

  For Travel......................................... 7,700

  For Commodities.................................... 3,900

  For Printing....................................... 4,600

  For Equipment.......................................... 0

  For Electronic Data Processing..................... 8,100

  For Telecommunications Services.................... 8,100

  For Operation of Automotive Equipment.............. 4,600

    Total                                          $699,700

 

    Section 5.  The amount of $500,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the State Police Merit Board from the State Police Merit Board Public Safety Fund for its ordinary and contingent expenses.

 

    Section 10.  The amount of $4,300,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the State Police Merit Board from the State Police Merit Board Public Safety Fund for all costs associated with a cadet program for the Department of State Police.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2014.
