SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Jean A. Carney, formerly of Aurora, who
4passed away on February 25, 2012; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jean Carney was born on December 3, 1933; she was
6the daughter of the late Ernst and Bertha (Walther) Stirn; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Jean Carney was a charter member and first
8employee of the 1st American Bank of Aurora and worked as a
9banker for over 30 years; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Jean Carney was preceded in death by her parents;
11her husband, John W. Carney; her cousin, William Stirn; and her
12brothers-in-law, Eugene Carney and Robert Carney; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Jean Carney is survived by her children, Mike
14(Kathy) Carney and Karen (Joe) Richmond; her siblings, Gert
15(Dick) Hills, Marge (Frank) Vermaat, Richard (Claudine) Stirn,
16and Kenneth Stirn; her cousins, Helen (Chris) Lockard and Carla
17(Tom) Teter; her sisters-in-law, Gloria Carney and Merle Curry;
18and her many loving nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with

2it further
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
