SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Elizabeth K. Looze of McHenry, who passed
4away on November 19, 2011; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Elizabeth Looze was born on April 7, 1925, in
6Ringwood; her parents were Edward and Elizabeth (Pint)
7Thompson; she attended Ringwood School and Skidmore Farms
8Lincoln School before graduating from McHenry High School in
91943; she later attended night school for clerical and
10secretarial courses; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Elizabeth Looze lived in Omaha, Nebraska from 1952
12until 1956, when she returned to McHenry; she was employed as a
13legal assistant for the Looze-Kinne Law Office for more than 40
14years; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Elizabeth Looze was preceded in death by her
16husband, John Looze; her son, Robert Clark; her sister, Agnes
17(Nick) Adams; her brothers, John, Ed, George, Kenneth, and
18William Thompson; her sister-in-law, Isabell Thompson; and her
19former husband, Richard Clark; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Elizabeth Looze is survived by her children,
21Richard (Ernstiena) Clark and Susan (Allard) Bayne; her

1stepchildren, Ray (Helene) Looze, Don Looze, Jon K. (Donna)
2Looze, Richard Looze, and Jack (Judy) Looze; her grandchildren,
3Kimberly (Matthew) Erbtoeser, Kathryn (James) Palmquist,
4Nichlos Clark, Willem (Beth) Lulinski, Monique (Roger)
5Volkening, Allard IV (Suzanne) Bayne, Timothy (Summer) Bayne,
6and Shawn (Kelly) Bayne; her 16 great-grandchildren; her
7brothers, James Thompson and Charles Thompson; and her sister,
8Grace Mary (Marion) Messman; therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
11her family and friends, the passing of Elizabeth K. Looze; and
12be it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Elizabeth Looze as an expression of
15our sympathy.
