SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Michael Thomas Asma of Beach Park, who
4passed away on July 16, 2011; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Michael Asma attended St. Anastasia School and
6Waukegan High School; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Michael Asma was a certified electrician; he was
8employed at the Electric Service Company in Waukegan; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Michael Asma was a member of the "backyard
10mechanics" with his brothers, cousins, and friends; he was a
11charter member of the Mis Shifts Car Club and loved to drive
12his 1972 Chevelle to car shows; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Michael Asma is survived by his loving daughters,
14Nicole Asma (Charlie Berczy) and Dana Asma; his parents, Bob
15and Peggy (nee Gavigan) Asma; his brothers, Joseph (Nancy),
16James, and Timothy; his sister, Katie (Joe) Gutierrez; his
17nieces, Hannah and Kaitlyn; his nephews, Michael, Daniel, and
18Sonny; his many cousins, aunts, and uncles; and his girlfriend,
19Brandy Green; therefore, be it
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
2his family and friends, the passing of Michael Thomas Asma; and
3be it further
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5presented to the family of Michael Asma as an expression of our
6sympathy.
