SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Edith M. Bradford of Glen Carbon, who
4passed away on June 17, 2011; and
 
5    WHEREAS, She was born on October 18, 1922, in Emminence,
6Missouri; and
 
7    WHEREAS, She retired from the Army Mobility Command in St.
8Louis, Missouri, after years of dedicated service as a manager;
9she was a faithful member of City Temple Assembly of God Church
10in Granite City and the Assembly of God Church in Maryville;
11and
 
12    WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus
13C. Bradford; her parents, Otis F. and Beulah G., nee Carr,
14Rose; and her brothers, Raymond and Dale Rose; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Edith Bradford is survived by her son, Glenn
16(Mela) Bradford; her grandchildren, Mark (Kerri) Bradford and
17Shannon Bradford; her brother, Edwin Rose; her sister, Ruby
18Nunley; and other extended family and friends; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with

1her family and friends, the passing of Edith Bradford; and be
2it further
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
4presented to the family of Edith Bradford as a symbol of our
5sincere sympathy.
