SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Pauline E. Cavalie of Caseyville, who
4passed away on September 18, 2010; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Pauline E. Cavalie, nee Faulkner, was born April
67, 1918; and
 
7    WHEREAS, She served her country during World War II as a
8member of the W.A.C.S. from 1943 to 1945; honorably discharged,
9she pursued her career passion by teaching dance to thousands
10through the years; she started in New York with Arthur Murray
11and continued enriching other's lives in the Metro East area
12with her talent; and
 
13    WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her brother, John
14Faulkner; and her daughter, Paula (Cavalie) Sellars; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Pauline Cavalie is survived by her sister, Helen
16Doughty; her brother, Edward Faulkner; her son, Calbert
17Lambourne-Cavalie; her daughters, Kai Cavalie and Lauri
18(Scott) Tomer; her grandchildren, Andrea Abram, Anna Snyder,
19Danielle Abram, Crystal Hoelzen, and Nicole Byrns; and her four
20great grandchildren; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
3her family and friends, the passing of Pauline Cavalie; and be
4it further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Pauline Cavalie as a symbol of our
7sincere sympathy.
