1    AN ACT concerning State government.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Department of Commerce and Economic
5Opportunity Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
6amended by adding Section 605-750 as follows:
 
7    (20 ILCS 605/605-750 new)
8    Sec. 605-750. Posting requirements; Illinois Workforce
9Investment Board. The Department must comply with the Internet
10posting requirements set forth in Section 7.2 of the Illinois
11Workforce Investment Board Act. The information must be posted
12on the Department's Internet website no later than 30 days
13after the Department receives the information from the Illinois
14Workforce Investment Board.
 
15    Section 10. The Illinois Workforce Investment Board Act is
16amended by adding Sections 7.2 and 7.5 as follows:
 
17    (20 ILCS 3975/7.2 new)
18    Sec. 7.2. Posting requirements; Department of Commerce and
19Economic Opportunity's website. On and after the effective date
20of this amendatory Act of the 97th General Assembly, the
21Illinois Workforce Investment Board must annually submit to the

1Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity the following
2information to be posted on the Department's official Internet
3website:
4        (1) All agendas and meeting minutes for meetings of the
5    Illinois Workforce Investment Board.
6        (2) All line-item budgets for the local workforce
7    investment areas located within the State.
8        (3) A listing of all contracts and contract values for
9    all workforce development training and service providers.
10    The information required under this Section must be posted
11on the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity's
12Internet website no later than 30 days after the Department
13receives the information from the Illinois Workforce
14Investment Board.
 
15    (20 ILCS 3975/7.5 new)
16    Sec. 7.5. Procurement. The Illinois Workforce Investment
17Board is subject to the Illinois Procurement Code, to the
18extent consistent with all applicable federal laws.
