SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Lester A. Interrante Sr. of Des Plaines,
4who passed away on July 17, 2010; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Lester Interrante Sr. was a member of the
6"Greatest Generation" who served in the Army in World War II at
7Normandy and throughout France; just last year he took the
8Honor Flight to Washington D.C. to see the World War II
9Memorial; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Lester Interrante Sr. is buried at the Abraham
11Lincoln National Cemetery; and
 
12    WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna and
13Carl; and his brother, George; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Lester Interrante Sr. was the beloved husband of
15Mary for 67 years; he was the much loved father of Bette Ann
16(Caesar) Vitale, Mary (Sigfried) Hausner, Jackie Burns, Lester
17Jr. (Mary) Interrante, Patti (Razz) Jenkins, Gina (Brian)
18Watzke, Meg Harris, and Tim (Christine) Interrante; the loving
19grandfather of Lisa, Christopher, Andrew, Emily, Audrey,
20Eleanor, the late Danny, Matthew, Nicholas, Vanessa, Natalie,
21Cuyler, Monica, Ben, Cameron, Aannah, Ava, and Cal; the beloved

1brother of Lillian; and the great-grandfather of Max, Clark,
2Ralph, Piper, Vivien, Henry, Teddy, Quentin, Mark, and McKenna;
3therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
6his family and friends, the passing of Lester Interrante Sr.;
7and be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Lester Interrante as a symbol of our
10sincere sympathy.
