SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Frank Anthony DeGrazia of Libertyville
4 and Lake Bluff, who passed away on January 5, 2010; and
 
5     WHEREAS, He was born at home in Rondout on April 19, 1928,
6 and was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Libertyville; and
 
7     WHEREAS, Mr. DeGrazia was an ironworker, a member of local
8 #1, and the American Legion; and
 
9     WHEREAS, During World War II he served with the United
10 States Army; and
 
11     WHEREAS, He took pride in his vegetable garden, enjoyed the
12 game of golf, and later in life became a proficient baker; and
 
13     WHEREAS, He is survived by his beloved Elaine (nee Hanzel)
14 of 55 years of marriage; his loving son, Cary (Kim) DeGrazia;
15 he was the proud grandfather of Geena and Anthony; and the fond
16 brother of Rose Fiore, Millie Guido Angie Trute, and the late
17 George DeGrazia and Antoinette "Tony" Eiserman; therefore, be
18 it
 
19     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL

1 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
2 his family and friends, the passing of Frank DeGrazia; and be
3 it further
 
4     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5 presented to the family of Frank DeGrazia as a symbol of our
6 sincere sympathy.
