SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Rosemary Kamp Corrigan of Wood River, who
4 passed away on September 12, 2009; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Rosemary Kamp Corrigan was born on January 4, 1924
6 in Kampsville; she was the daughter of Michael and Theresa
7 (Ewen) Kamp; she married William J. Corrigan at St. Bernard's
8 Catholic Church in Wood River on August 10, 1943; and
 
9     WHEREAS, Rosemary Kamp Corrigan and her family moved to
10 Alton when she was a child; she attended SS. Peter and Paul
11 Grade School and Marquette Catholic High School; and
 
12     WHEREAS, Rosemary Kamp Corrigan worked for more than 20
13 years at the Madision County Clerk's Office in Edwardsville;
14 and
 
15     WHEREAS, Rosemary Kamp Corrigan was a lifelong member of
16 St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Wood River; and
 
17     WHEREAS, Rosemary Kamp Corrigan was preceded in death by
18 her parents; her brother, Harold Kamp; and her sisters,
19 Marcella Harmon and Loretta Suhling; and

1     WHEREAS, Rosemary Kamp Corrigan is survived by her husband;
2 her children and daughters-in-law, Richard and Glenda (Davis)
3 Corrigan, Thomas and Jonie (Goeken) Corrigan, and Pamela
4 Corrigan; her grandchildren, Jenny, Suzette, Richie, Paul,
5 Craig, Katie, and Claire; her 6 great-grandchildren and 1
6 great-great-grandchild; and her sister, Lucille McHugh;
7 therefore, be it
 
8     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
9 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
10 her family and friends, the passing of Rosemary Kamp Corrigan;
11 and be it further
 
12     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13 presented to the family of Rosemary Kamp Corrigan as an
14 expression of our sympathy.
