SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express
3 their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Raymond
4 W. "Pepsi" Schuessler of Troy, who passed away on January 12,
5 2007; and
 
6     WHEREAS, Raymond Schuessler was born on June 14, 1949 in
7 Belleville; and
 
8     WHEREAS, Raymond Schuessler was a salesman for National
9 Peace Officer Press in Troy; he was a United States Air Force
10 veteran, a past alderman of the City of Troy, and a past police
11 commissioner of Troy; and
 
12     WHEREAS, Raymond Schuessler was an honorary Illinois
13 Sheriff Association Deputy and a Mason; and
 
14     WHEREAS, Raymond Schuessler was preceded in death by his
15 father, William G. Schuessler, and his half-brother, Roland
16 Kniser; and
 
17     WHEREAS, Raymond Schuessler is survived by his mother,
18 Helen, nee Weaver, Schuessler; his stepsons, Robert McNeill
19 Michael (Holly) McNeill, and Jeffrey (Gloria) McNeill; his
20 stepdaughters, Annette (Kevin) Roach, and Lori McNeill; his

1 godchild, Jamie Ray Schuessler; his brothers, William S.
2 Schuessler and Russell E. (Judy "Sam") Schuessler; his sisters,
3 Donna J. (Harry) Pelate and Gertie (Adolph) Kaufman; and his
4 many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews;
5 therefore, be it
 
6     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
7 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
8 his family and friends, the passing of Raymond W. "Pepsi"
9 Schuessler; and be it further
 
10     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11 presented to the family of Raymond Schuessler as a symbol of
12 our sincere sympathy.
