| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1267 by replacing |

| Section 5 with the following:

| "Section 5. The Department of Human Services Act is amended |

| by adding Section 10-33 as follows:

| Sec. 10-33. Sec. 2205-15. Hunger Relief Fund; grants. |

| (a) The Hunger Relief Fund is created as a special fund in
|
| 9 |
| the State treasury. From appropriations to the Department from
|
| 10 |
| the Fund, the Department shall make grants to members of the
|
| 11 |
| Illinois Food Bank Association for the purpose of making
|
| 12 |
| capital improvements, purchasing food, or acquiring other
|
| 13 |
| assets. |
| 14 |
| (b) Moneys received for the purposes of this Section,
|
| 15 |
| including, without limitation, appropriations, gifts,
|
| 16 |
| donations, grants, and awards from any public or private entity
|
