    Amends the Criminal Code of 1961. Makes a technical change in a Section that prohibits the possession of burglary tools.

1     AN ACT concerning criminal law.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Criminal Code of 1961 is amended by changing
5 Section 19-2 as follows:
 
6     (720 ILCS 5/19-2)  (from Ch. 38, par. 19-2)
7     Sec. 19-2. Possession of burglary tools.
8     (a) A person commits the the offense of possession of
9 burglary tools when he possesses any key, tool, instrument,
10 device, or any explosive, suitable for use in breaking into a
11 building, housetrailer, watercraft, aircraft, motor vehicle as
12 defined in The Illinois Vehicle Code, railroad car, or any
13 depository designed for the safekeeping of property, or any
14 part thereof, with intent to enter any such place and with
15 intent to commit therein a felony or theft.
16     (b) Sentence.
17     Possession of burglary tools in violation of this Section
18 is a Class 4 felony.
