SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with regret of the death of David A. "Linc" Dietiker of
4 Aurora on Sunday, May 16, 2004; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Mr. Dietiker was born on April 6, 1945, in Chicago
6 to Irene (Deal) and Francis Dietiker; he married Katherine
7 Kleckner on August 13, 1983; and
 
8     WHEREAS, He was a member of Annunciation Church, he was a
9 graduate of Marmion Military Academy, and he attended Marquette
10 University; and
 
11     WHEREAS, He was a successful businessman and part owner of
12 Dietiker Brothers Distributing; he was very well-known in the
13 community and acquired numerous friends through his business,
14 youth sports, and the YMCA; he enjoyed spending time with his
15 family, friends, and neighbors, and he enjoyed watching his
16 daughters grow and mature through scholastics and sports; and
 
17     WHEREAS, The passing of David A. "Linc" Dietiker has been
18 deeply felt by many, especially his wife, Katherine; his
19 daughters, Kristin and Katie; his parents, Irene (Deal) and
20 Francis Dietiker; his brother, Michael (Kathleen) Dietiker and
21 their two children, Carrie and Stephanie; his brothers and
22 sisters-in-law, Bill Kleckner, Jan (Don) Osmer, Jeff (Sherry)
23 Kleckner, Lynn (Dave) Fichtel, Tom Kleckner, Mary (Mark) Adams,
24 and Dave Kleckner; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins;
25 therefore, be it
 
26     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
27 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
28 David A. "Linc" Dietiker, and we extend our sincere condolences
29 to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
30 it further

3 expression of our deepest sympathy.
