SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with regret of the death of Virginia Pauline Redd of
4 Godfrey on Saturday, March 27, 2004; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Virginia Stahl was born on August 28, 1921, in
6 Rosedale to Walter and Louise (Isringhausen) Stahl; she married
7 Frederick Redd Sr. in April of 1941 in Grafton; he preceded her
8 in death in 1973; and
 
9     WHEREAS, Prior to her retirement in 1987, Mrs. Redd was
10 employed for 25 years as a teacher at Beverly Farms Foundation;
11 she was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Godfrey; and
 
12     WHEREAS, Mrs. Redd will always be remembered as a loving
13 and devoted mother and grandmother; her passing has been deeply
14 felt by many, especially her children and their spouses, Jane
15 and William Phelps, Michael and Carol Redd, Mary and Michael
16 Bell, and Frederick and Kim Redd; her grandchildren, Mark
17 Phelps, Jennifer Phelps, Jacob Redd, Jessica Bendana and
18 husband, Fred, Kathleen Redd, Nicholas Redd, Emily Redd, and
19 Rozlyn Redd; and her many other family members and dear
20 friends; therefore, be it
 
21     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
22 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
23 Virginia P. Redd, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her
24 family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
25 further
 
26     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
27 presented to the family of Virginia P. Redd as an expression of
28 our sincere condolences.
