SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with regret of the death of James L. Finn of
4 Bartonville on Thursday, November 20, 2003; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Mr. Finn was born on December 31, 1951, in
6 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to James and Marilyn Krumer Finn; he
7 married Margie Hohman on May 26, 1973, in Pittsburgh,
8 Pennsylvania; he received a Bachelor's Degree in environmental
9 science from California University of Pennsylvania in 1976; and
 
10     WHEREAS, Mr. Finn worked for Continental Grain Co. in
11 Everson, Pennsylvania, and Bartonville; he had been an
12 investigator for the Food and Drug Administration for 13 years;
13 and
 
14     WHEREAS, Mr. Finn was a trustee of the Tuscarora Volunteer
15 Fire Department; he was a former member of the Pekin Lions Club
16 and a former trainer for Leader Dogs for the Blind; he attended
17 St. Benedicts Abbey in Bartonville; and
 
18     WHEREAS, The passing of Mr. Finn has been deeply felt by
19 many, especially his wife, Margie; his sons, Andrew, Patrick,
20 and Nolan; his mother and stepfather, Marilyn and George
21 Obsince; and his brother, Thomas; therefore, be it
 
22     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
23 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
24 James L. Finn, and we extend our sympathy to his friends,
25 family, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
 
26     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
27 presented to the family of Mr. Finn as an expression of our
28 condolences for their loss.
