SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
65 ILCS 5/11-12-5.5 new

    Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Authorizes the corporate authorities of any municipality to create a schedule for and to collect developer donation fees for certain impacts specifically and uniquely attributable to the development of any subdivision or resubdivision of land within the municipality. Effective immediately.

1     AN ACT concerning municipalities.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by adding
5 Section 11-12-5.5 as follows:
 
6     (65 ILCS 5/11-12-5.5 new)
7     Sec. 11-12-5.5. Developer donations. The corporate
8 authorities of any municipality may create a schedule for and
9 to collect developer donation fees for any impact on the
10 municipality's public infrastructure, services, operations, or
11 schools if that impact is specifically and uniquely
12 attributable to the development of any subdivision or
13 resubdivision of land within the municipality.
 
14     Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
15 becoming law.
